Limpela Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-09-23

These terms are the agreement between your business and Harmony AI Technologies ("Harmony", "we" or "us") for the use of Limpela. Limpela is software that helps you run a cleaning company. It includes our website at limpela.com and the app at limpela.app.

By paying for a plan, creating an account or using Limpela, you agree to these terms. If you accept them for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to do so. In these terms, "you" means that company.

These terms take effect on September 23, 2026. Please also read our Privacy Policy. It explains how we handle personal information.

1. Who can use Limpela

Limpela is made for businesses. It is not for personal or household use.

To open an account for a business, you must be at least 18 and able to sign a contract. People you invite to your workspace must be at least 16.

2. What Limpela does

Limpela helps you run the day to day of a cleaning company. Depending on your plan, it includes:

What each plan includes is shown on our plans page at https://limpela.com/plans. Features can change over time as we improve the service.

  • Scheduling, recurring jobs and checklists
  • A crew app with GPS clock-in and clock-out
  • Client and property records, and importing clients from a CSV file
  • Quotes and invoices, with private links you can send to your clients
  • On plans that include it, an AI assistant that answers questions and drafts work for you, with a monthly allowance
  • Billing settings to manage your Limpela plan

3. Limpela is in Beta

Limpela is in Beta. It is new, and we are improving it every week.

This means features may change, move or be removed, and some things may not work as expected. We work to fix problems quickly. We cannot promise that Limpela will always be available or free of errors.

Keep your own copies of records the law says you must keep, such as payroll and tax records. The app does not have an export button yet. If you need a copy of your data, ask us.

4. Your account and your team

The person who sets up your workspace is its owner. The owner and admins can invite other people and give each one a role: admin, manager or cleaner. Each role can see and do different things.

An invitation works only for the email address it was sent to, and only for 7 days.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping passwords and sign-in links private
  • Inviting only people who work with your business
  • Everything the people you invite do in your workspace
  • Telling us right away through our contact page if you think someone used your account without permission

5. Plans, payment and renewal

You choose a plan and check out through Stripe first. Then you create your account with the same email address you used at checkout.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

Plans are billed monthly or once a year, in advance. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown for your plan, until you cancel. You allow us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method at each renewal.

Prices are in US dollars, per company. Taxes may apply. You are responsible for taxes on your plan, other than taxes on our income.

Free trial. If a plan is offered with a free trial, the trial length and conditions are shown before you pay. If you gave a card at checkout, your paid plan starts when the trial ends and your card is charged, unless you cancel before then. If you did not give a card, your plan ends when the trial ends, unless you add a payment method.

Founder rate. If you joined at a founder rate, you keep that rate for as long as your subscription stays active. If your subscription ends, the founder rate ends with it.

Price changes. We may change our prices. If the price of your plan goes up, we will tell you before it happens, and the new price will apply from your next renewal. You can cancel before then. A founder rate you hold does not change while your subscription stays active.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe may try again. Access to the app pauses until the payment goes through.

6. Changing or cancelling your plan

Owners and admins can change plans or cancel at any time from the billing settings in the app. Billing settings open Stripe's customer portal, which shows the details before you confirm.

When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Your access ends at the end of that period.

If you move to a smaller plan, its limits apply, such as the number of users and the assistant allowance.

Fees are not refundable, including for part of a period or for allowance you did not use, except where the law requires a refund.

7. Users and assistant limits

Each plan has limits, shown on the plans page.

Users. Some plans limit the number of users. Open invitations count toward the limit. To add more users than your plan allows, move to a plan with a higher limit.

Assistant allowance. Plans with the assistant include a monthly allowance of questions and drafts. Each message you send to the assistant uses one. If the assistant fails before it starts to answer, that use is given back. Some plans also list assistant credits for actions the assistant takes for you.

The allowance refills on the first day of each month, in your business's time zone, even if you pay once a year. Unused allowance does not carry over.

When you reach your monthly allowance, the assistant stops until the allowance refills. The rest of Limpela keeps working. We stop the assistant instead of charging you more without asking. If we cannot check your allowance, the assistant stops too, instead of running without a limit.

Top-ups. If your plan offers top-ups, you can buy more assistant use for the current month. A top-up is charged when you buy it.

8. The AI assistant

The assistant uses AI models to answer questions about your business and to draft things like quotes. Owners, admins and managers can use it. Cleaners cannot.

The assistant can make mistakes. It can misread a question, miss information or get a number wrong. Check its answers before you rely on them.

When the assistant prepares a draft, a person on your team reviews it and confirms it before anything is sent or changed. If your plan lets the assistant act for you, it can only do what the person using it is allowed to do. You are responsible for what you confirm and for the actions you ask the assistant to take.

To answer, the assistant sends your question and the records it needs from your workspace through Vercel AI Gateway to AI model providers. Our Privacy Policy explains what is sent and what is not.

If your plan lets you connect your own AI provider account, such as your own OpenRouter key on Max plans, requests made with your key also follow that provider's terms, and that provider may charge you directly.

9. Your data

Your data stays yours. This includes your clients, properties, jobs, quotes, invoices, time records and anything else you or your team put into Limpela.

You allow us to store, copy, process and show your data only as needed to run Limpela for you, to support you, to keep the service secure and to follow the law.

For your clients' and crew members' personal information, you decide what is collected and why. We process it on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your data. In particular, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to put into Limpela the information you add, including your clients' and crew members' details.
  • You have told your clients and crew how you use their information, and you have any consent the law requires.
  • You have told your crew that the crew app records their location when they clock in and clock out, and why. Limpela does not show its own notice before the phone asks for location.
  • You keep door codes, alarm codes and key locations only in the access notes field. Limpela limits who can see that field.
  • You do not put Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or health information in Limpela.

10. What we do and do not do with your data

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use it to train AI models, and we set the AI gateway to use only model providers that do not train on it.

If you want a copy of your data, or want it deleted, ask us through our contact page. Today we handle these requests by hand, because the app does not have export or delete buttons yet. We will respond within a reasonable time and as the law requires.

11. Your clients, quotes and invoices

Limpela can create a private link for each quote and invoice, so your client can see it without an account. Anyone who has the link can open it, so send it only to the right person. An invoice link stops working if you void the invoice. A quote can no longer be accepted after its valid-until date.

When your client accepts or declines a quote through the link, Limpela records the date and time. It does not record a signature, a name or other proof of who clicked. It is not an electronic signature. If you need a signed agreement with your client, arrange it separately.

You are the seller to your clients. Your prices, services, taxes and agreements with your clients are between you and them. Harmony is not a party to them.

Offline payments. Payments you record as cash, check, Venmo, Zelle or other are records only. Limpela does not move that money.

Your Stripe account. The owner can connect a Stripe account from the app's payment settings. To do that, you accept Stripe's terms, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Stripe checks your identity and bank details.

Card payments. If we turn on card payments for your account, your clients can pay an invoice by card through Stripe, and the money is sent to your Stripe account. Before we turn them on, we will show you any fees and how refunds and disputes are handled. We may turn card payments off if we need to, for example to stop fraud.

You are responsible for refunds, chargebacks and disputes on payments your clients make to you. If Stripe takes a refund, chargeback, dispute amount or fee from our account because of one of your payments, you agree to pay us back.

12. Fair use

Use Limpela only for lawful business purposes. Do not:

If you find a security problem, please tell us through our contact page.

  • Break the law, or help others break it, including privacy, employment, consumer and anti-spam laws
  • Upload information you do not have the right to use
  • Send spam or misleading messages through Limpela
  • Try to get into another company's workspace, or test, probe or break our security
  • Copy, resell or rent Limpela, or use it to build a competing product
  • Scrape, overload or disrupt the service, or get around plan limits
  • Reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it
  • Upload viruses or other harmful code

13. Other companies' services

Limpela works with services from other companies, such as Stripe for payments, Vercel AI Gateway for the assistant and Google Maps for directions. When you use them, their own terms and privacy policies may also apply. We are not responsible for services we do not control.

14. Our software and brand

Limpela, its software, design and brand belong to Harmony AI Technologies. These terms let you use Limpela while your subscription is active. They do not give you any other rights to it.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

15. Suspending or ending access

You can stop using Limpela at any time by cancelling your plan.

We may suspend or end your access if you do not pay, if you break these terms, if your use puts other customers or the service at risk, or if the law requires it. When we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

When your subscription ends, your access to the app ends. If you want a copy of your data, ask us through our contact page before then. After your subscription ends, we may delete your workspace data, except what we must keep by law.

Parts of these terms that should last after the end, such as amounts owed, disclaimers, limits of liability, your responsibility for claims and governing law, still apply.

16. No guarantees

Limpela is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond what these terms say. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that Limpela will run without interruption or always be accurate.

GPS locations come from the crew member's phone and can be wrong or missing. The check against the job address is a guide, not proof of where someone was.

Limpela does not give legal, tax, payroll or employment advice. You are responsible for paying your crew correctly and for following the laws that apply to your business.

17. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Harmony is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, even if we were told they could happen.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims about Limpela is limited to the amount you paid us for Limpela in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim, or 100 US dollars, whichever is more.

Some places do not allow these limits. Where that is the case, they apply only as far as the law allows.

18. Your responsibility for claims

If someone makes a claim against Harmony because of your data, your use of Limpela, your dealings with your clients or crew, or your breaking these terms or the law, you will defend Harmony and pay the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees. We will tell you about the claim and work with you on it. You will not settle a claim in a way that makes us admit fault or pay money without our written agreement.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Limpela changes. We will post the new version with a new date at the top. If a change is important, we will give you notice before it takes effect, for example on our website, in the app or by email.

If you keep using Limpela after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel.

20. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

If there is a problem, please contact us first. Most problems can be solved quickly that way.

If we cannot solve it together, any legal case about these terms or Limpela will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and both sides agree to those courts. This does not take away rights you have under laws that a contract cannot change.

21. Other legal details

A few more points:

  • These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Harmony about Limpela. If we sign a separate written agreement with you, such as for a custom application, that agreement applies where it is different.
  • We may send you notices by email to the address on your account, or show them in the app. You can send us notices through our contact page.
  • Nothing in these terms makes us partners, employees or agents of each other.
  • If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we do not enforce a right right away, we do not give it up.
  • You may not transfer your account or these terms without our written permission. We may transfer them as part of a merger, sale or reorganization.
  • Neither side is responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as outages at our providers, natural disasters or network failures. This does not change amounts you owe.
  • We may offer these terms in Portuguese and Spanish. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
